What is Capsinol?
Capsinol is a 100% natural nasal spray with capsaicin as the main active ingredient. Capsaicin is a natural compound found in chili peppers (Capsicum) that creates a warming sensation. The formula also contains eucalyptus oil and xylitol for a fresh, clean feeling.
Capsinol can be used for extended periods and is not addictive. It does not contain xylometazoline or other vasoconstrictive agents.
Who is it for?
Capsinol is for people who experience nasal discomfort such as a stuffy nose, a runny nose, or a heavy feeling around the forehead and sinuses, and who are looking for a natural alternative to chemical nasal sprays.
How to use
- Shake well before each use.
- Remove the transparent protective cap.
- Hold the bottle at the bottom with your thumb. Hold the top between your index and middle fingers.
- When using for the first time, spray into the air a few times until the liquid comes out.
- Insert the nozzle into your nostril. Spray and breathe in slowly through your nose at the same time.
- Repeat in the other nostril.
- After use, clean the nozzle and replace the cap.
Recommended dosage
Spray 2 to 4 times in each nostril, up to 5 times per day, evenly spaced throughout the day. You will usually notice an effect within 2 to 12 minutes.
What to expect on first use
You will feel a warming, tingling sensation in your nose. This is the capsaicin at work. The sensation is temporary and fades within seconds to minutes. With regular use, the tingling becomes less noticeable. Many users come to enjoy the refreshing feeling.
Some people may experience watery eyes or sneezing after the first few uses. This is normal and decreases over time.
How quickly does it work?
Many users notice a difference from the first use. For some, it takes up to 2 weeks of consistent daily use before they experience the full effect. Every nose is different, so be patient and use it regularly.
