Sinusitis

What is sinus infection?

Sinusitis is an inflammation of the sinuses. In total, a person has eight sinuses, of which the frontal sinuses are two. When all eight sinuses become inflamed, it is called a sinus infection. This is also called: Sinusitis. It is possible for only the frontal sinus to become inflamed and this is called Sinusitis Frontalis, the Frontalis of which refers to the frontal sinuses.

How is a sinus infection caused?

A sinus infection is mainly caused by a cold. With a cold there is a lot of mucus in the nose, which can cause a stuffy nose, for example. But too much mucus can go to the sinuses. There are many different bacteria in this mucus. An excess of bacteria can cause inflammation. The pain that occurs with a sinus infection is caused by the pressure that the mucus exerts on the sinuses. In addition to the fact that a sinus infection can be caused by a bacteria, it can also be caused by a severe version of hay fever.

The Symptoms of Sinusitis

Because a sinus infection is caused by a cold, you will first get all the symptoms of a cold. You can think of symptoms such as:

  • A stuffy or runny nose
  • A sore throat and sore throat
  • Headache
  • To sneeze
  • Teary eyes

Is a sinus infection contagious?

A sinus infection is absolutely contagious. This is due to the amount of bacteria trapped in the mucus. Cough or sneeze once and thousands of bacteria fly through the air, without being visible. When these bacteria end up with someone else, this person can suffer from a cold. Fortunately, there is only a small chance that it will actually become a sinus infection.

Solution for a sinus infection

When you suffer from a sinus infection, there is a lot of pressure in the nose and sinuses. This will cause a sharp headache, jaw pain and you will probably feel sick as well. You can take paracetamol for this pain, but with Sinistus it is very important that the pressure in the cavities is reduced. To reduce this, the mucus that is stuck must be drained.

Steaming can help with this. Hang your head over a container with water, possibly with some eucalyptus oil. And put a towel around your head and the bowl of hot water. Steaming makes the mucus thinner and easier to drain.

Chronic sinus problems

Capsinol may offer a solution for chronic sinus problems. The hot pepper in Capsinol nasal spray causes the nasal mucosa to clear up. It makes moisture that loosens the mucus. In addition, the pepper ensures that the nose starts to produce a normal amount of mucus again, so that the nose and cavities are released again.

NB!

Capsinol nasal spray is a spicy nasal spray. It may take some getting used to when using the nasal spray for the first time. Capsinol does not work the same as a standard nasal spray. It can take a few days to two weeks before you really start to experience the difference. In the meantime, use the nasal spray regularly so that the pepper really gets the chance to do its job.

Capsinol has already helped or greatly reduced many people’s chronic sinus infections. But we also want to be honest; not every nose reacts to the pepper. If you don’t notice any difference after two weeks, then Capsinol probably won’t offer a solution for you. Are you going to try Capsinol; then really give it a chance and follow the user instructions carefully for the best results.
