Capsinol nasal spray contains capsaicin. This is the substance from red pepper that provides the hot effect. Through medical research, this capsaicin has been shown to be effective for (chronic) nasal complaints, such as a chronic cold or runny nose.
What does capsaicin do?
– Capsaicin stimulates the nasal mucosa and causes it to produce less mucus. This allows you to breathe freely again through the nose
– Capsaicin builds the resistance of the nasal mucosa; the nose becomes less sensitive to outside substances
– Capsaicin has anti-inflammatory effects
The effect (have patience):
Many people experience relief immediately after using Capsinol. They can soon breathe freely again through the nose. But it may also be that effect takes a little longer.
Therefore, please also keep up the spraying for at least 2 weeks (about 1 bottle). If there has been no improvement after that, then this nasal spray will probably not be a solution for you.
Capsinol is not a panacea that helps for all nasal complaints. Every nose is different and reacts differently (if at all) to the pepper. Sometimes the symptoms may even increase slightly at first. Maybe not what you desire, but it is a good sign that your nose is responding to the pepper. Therefore, please hang in there. If necessary, use another nasal spray (temporarily) to keep the nose clear until the pepper starts doing its job.
For a short cold, Capsinol can also be a solution, especially if you wish to use a natural nasal spray. We do want to honestly say that a nasal spray based on xylometazoline, for example, usually produces faster results in this case.
Keep in mind that the nasal spray is spicy (think of a good bite of wasabi mayonnaise). This feeling gets used to, but can possibly be a bit jarring at first. The initial experience with Capsinol, of course, varies from person to person.
We have already made many people happy with Capsinol. People with chronic nasal congestion, runny nose or those who had been addicted to a xylometazoline-based nasal spray for years. For many of them, Capsinol finally provided the relief they were looking for.
