Have you been addicted to nasal spray for a while? And are you curious whether Capsinol can help you get rid of this addiction?

We would like to give you some tips and explanations about how it works and what you can expect. It is very difficult to be specific, because every nose reacts differently (and sometimes not) to the pepper. So please keep this in mind. And know that the nasal spray is spicy!

• Why could Capsinol help?
Capsinol does not contain any substance that has an addictive effect. The main active ingredient is capsaicin, which is the hot substance of the red pepper. This is spicy, but not bad for the nose. Many people have already overcome their nasal spray addiction with the help of Capsinol.

• Are you not replacing one problem with another?

New. Capsinol ensures that the nose will solve the problem itself. The nasal mucous membranes are stimulated by the pepper and start to react. In this way they learn to better defend themselves against unwanted substances from outside. This will dissolve the blockage and allow you to breathe freely through the nose again. Often, after using Capsinol for a longer period of time, you no longer need a nasal spray. This effect can last for up to a year.

• Reduce or stop in 1x?

Stopping your own nasal spray at once is possible, but not necessary. If you do not notice immediate results, the nasal spray based on xylometazoline can be used for a while in addition to Capsinol. Build up Capsinol and finish the xylometazoline nasal spray. For most people this is the most pleasant method.

• How often to spray?

It is really important that you use Capsinol regularly over a longer period of time. The nose should be exposed to the pepper more often to ensure that the resistance of the nose also improves. Spraying once a day can help, but will not have a long-term effect.

• How quickly do you get results?

That varies greatly from person to person. One notices a difference immediately after use and the other only after a day. It can even take up to 2 weeks for the pepper to really make a difference. That is how long the capsaicin needs to build up the resistance of the nose. So persevere, even if you don’t notice immediate results.

• Do I no longer have to use a nasal spray at all after treatment with Capsinol?

That also differs per person. One person is rid of all complaints for a longer period of time, the other continues to use Capsinol with some regularity. We do see that with Capsinol, even in the longer term, much less nasal spray is needed than when a nasal spray based on xylometazoline is used.

• Does Capsinol work for everyone?

No, Capsinol is not a panacea that offers a solution for everyone. Not every nose is sensitive to capsaicin, but the causes of the complaints are also very diverse. We can therefore not give any guarantees. It is no different in the medical world.

• The nose actually gets closer

It can sometimes happen that the nose becomes even more closed after using Capsinol. That can be a bit of a shock, but in itself it is a good sign. The nose reacts to the pepper. You need that reaction to achieve results. So keep at it, it will decrease on its own.

• Something does happen, but too little. The nose does not come out completely.

Then spray more often with Capsinol. The amount of pepper (capsaicin) has an effect on the result. When the Mild Formula has been started, switching to the Original Formula is also an option.

• Sprayed for 2 weeks and no difference?

The chance that it will still work after that is quite small. If the nose really hasn’t given any reaction, we don’t expect any results after 2 weeks. Not every nose is sensitive to the capsaicin.

Finally: Capsinol is a spicy nasal spray! That takes some getting used to, but for many people it has certainly been worth it. They got rid of their addiction permanently.
